Echefu Bright is the Executive Director of the New World Foundation International formerly known as IDAAG Foundation. Born on the 11th of November 1985 to the family of Mr & Mrs. N.S Echefu of Imo State. He is known for his contribution to the field of Biomedical Engineering and Public Health Research. A recipient of many awards including the 3rd African Young Scientist Award in South Africa and later in Ireland. Echefu Bright is currently, a medical doctor practicing with the new world foundation international and a number of research institutes including Welcome trust Malaria Research Institute in Kenya, Echefu Bright Institute for Genetic Engineering Research (EBIGER) and the Nigerian Biotechnology Society. He is a fellow of the World Academy of Science, Nigeria Academy of Science, Nigeria Mathematical Society, Nigeria Biotechnology Society, World Young Inventors Forum, the Nigerian Medical Association, the Unicef Voices of the Youths, the Global Youth Coalition on AIDS, African Children Voices and the World Parliament Experiment.
